Here it is! The book that started it all. This is a reproduction of the very first Dime Book ever offered for sale. Originally, it was just called the Dime Song Book (as shown here). But when they produced the second song book, they had to put a number on this one to differentiate it from book two.

And yes, that's right, your eyes don't deceive you. That is an original copy of the very first dime book on the right.
