This pocket-sized book was printed by the American Tract Society in
1861. it contains 92 hymns and patriotic songs that were popular at
the time of the Civil War. The actual title of the book is Hymn
Book for the Army and Navy. One of the hymns in the book is Joy
to the World, which of course we now know as a Christmas Carol.
Other hymns include Say Brothers Will You Meet Us?, Rock of Ages,
All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name, and Blest Be the Tie that
Binds.
