Federal Money (MON005)
- For years, we had heard that
you couldn't duplicate Federal currency. We checked with the United States
Secret Service, and found out what we had to do to make this product. So
here it is: The packet includes $1, $2, $5, and $10 notes from the first
National Issue, and Fractional Currency of 5, 10, 25, and 50 cents from the

Identification Cards
We offer two types. One was given out by the Maryland
Bible Society. The other is a generic tag, the original of which can be seen in the
Time-Life series Echoes of Glory or in The Collector's Encyclopedia of the
Civil War (original vol. 4, reprint vol. 2). The Generic ID card was distributed by
the United States Christian Commission and is printed on linen paper with a brass grommet
driven through it, just like the original.

Many of the labels we see have been photocopied so many times they are difficult if not
impossible to read, and others are not correct for the Civil War era. We have researched
and found many labels that are accurate to the period. We would like to help put an end to
