Identification CardsWe offer two types. One was given out by the Maryland Bible Society. The other is a generic tag, the original of which can be seen in the Time-Life series Echoes of Glory or in The Collector's Encyclopedia of the Civil War (original vol. 4, reprint vol. 2). The Generic ID card was distributed by the United States Christian Commission and is printed on linen paper with a brass grommet driven through it, just like the original. |
